Cancellation and Return Policy

The below-detailed cancellation and return policies will apply to any products sold on store.kalamandir.com.

 

What are the terms of the Return Policy?

  • Customers can return their order within 7 days by contacting the customer care, if there is any damage/manufacturing.
  • In the interests of hygiene, we may refuse returns where it's obvious that the item has been worn, washed or soiled.
  • If you have received a defective product, send us images at hello@kalamandir.com and we will get back to you. Once confirmed by the Customer Experience Team, the refund will be provided either into your bank account or a gift voucher as per your convenience.
  • If there is a manufacturing issue, or if you have any other query regarding this, you can contact us on the number or email us on hello@kalamandir.com.
  • To maintain strict hygiene standards of our products, we do not accept returns on masks, boxers and Sweat t-shirts.

 

How does the Return process work?

  • You can only apply for a Return by contacting our customer care at hello@kalamandir.com
  • Self-Ship: Since we do not have a reverse pick up facility for all the pincodes, we might ask you to self-ship the product to us. We will credit shipping costs or Rs/100 (whichever is less) in your account in lieu of the shipping costs.

 

How do I self-ship the products?

  • Please pack the items securely to prevent any loss or damage during transit. All items must be in unused condition with all original tags attached and packaging intact.
  • The Customer Should mention his/her name, order number and mobile number, on the top of the packaging in which the product is couriered by the earlier mentioned procedure. Customers should ensure that the original receipt/invoice is included with the product when sending it to us.
  • You can courier the product(s) to the address shared by our customer service team.
  • On receiving the product at our warehouse, a quality check will be done and a refund will be initiated along with the courier charges.

PLEASE NOTE: We request that you do not use Professional Couriers for self return as they are not reliable and the package will not be accepted at the warehouse. Please make sure your courier costs do not exceed the amount stipulated above. We recommend using ‘Speed Post’ as your courier service. Speed Post is a Government of India owned entity and has the most widely distributed postal network in India.

No return will be accepted after 7 days of receiving the product.

If the Customer decides to send us an e-mail, it must contain the comprehensive details of the defects/complaints of the product delivered to you. Please note that the Kalamandir QC team will examine the returned products for all such defects/variations, based on the Customer’s e-mails.

When the customer has decided to either return or exchange the bought products, proof of purchase such as shipping invoice or a gift receipt should be included in the package, while sending it to us.

On receipt of the product from the Customer in the above-mentioned process, we will have sole discretion to decide whether to issue a credit note/voucher, which can be redeemed against your future purchases on our Kalamandir Website, or to offer other product ( which can be equal or lesser in price, compared to that of the bought and intended to return, product) of our customer’s wish while exchange, or we can also dismiss the return.

The customer has to pay the courier charges while returning/exchanging the product. We will be taking the sole responsibility in paying these courier charges, if the mistake is at our end, the courier charges will be returned to the customer through credit note/voucher. (courier not to pay or pay) – which includes the pick policies and charges.

On receipt of the product in the manner described above, if we find out in our sole discretion that the product is ineligible for return, we will contact such Customer through their registered email-ID or phone number with further instructions. In case, Kalamandir decides in this regard to return the product to such Customer, then such Customer shall bear and pay for such courier charges.

Damaged/Defective Product(s)

The customers, who have purchased from our online store are kindly requested to not accept any packages, if arrived in an unsealed condition, or if any damage has shown up in the package. The customers are requested to contact our customer support desk and report the same immediately.

Once our designated QC team thoroughly inspects the products that are returned for having a damage/defect, we will issue the customers either with a credit note, refund or exchange of the product.

The return (or) exchange of the damaged/ defective product(s) delivered to the customer(s) will only be accepted, if they are in the original condition with original folds and price tags.

If the damaged (or) the defective product is not with the original folds, it will not be eligible for return(or) exchange. 

Product Specification(s) on the store.kalamandir.com Website

The product specifications and details  that are mentioned on the Kalamandir website are not the exact values but only the approximate values. Any return request that is raised based on these attributes will not be accepted.

The customers who are preferring to buy the items with beaded embroidery and sequins must be aware of the fact that these shiny embellishments tend to come off, easily, even with the best of handling and care, which is an unavoidable problem. So, before ordering such item(s) please understand and make a point of these things.

The description mentioned along with the products on our website is left to the creativity of content writers. Any purchased product(s) requested for return/exchange based on these will not be considered.

The customers are requested to understand that there might be a slight colour variation in the colour, which occurs due to various reasons while placing the order from our website. Nevertheless, we strive to furnish the exact colour of the products on your computer’s screen. The variations usually show up because of the variations in the resolutions, monitors, browsers used, operating system, etc.

The garments usually tend to reflect in different shades under different lights, which is why the variation in the shade of colour tend to occur in the images on the website and is considered normal.

Order Cancellation

If there are any technical/stock issues for a placed order, Kalamandir has the right to Cancel the order without any notification and will refund the amount to the customer.

If the customer wishes to cancel the complete or a part of the order, before the order is approved, an email with the subject line <CANCEL>- should be sent to hello@kalamandir.com, for the cancellation request.

If the order is approved, by the time the cancellation request is raised by the customer, then the requested request will not be processed.

Procedure for Refunding

We hold the sole right to decide the form of the refund, which can be either be a credit note or else the opportunity to exchange. Once this is confirmed, the same will be updated to the customer.

Once the received product, which is requested for return aligns with our exchange policy, we may accomplish the Customer’s refund processing within 7(Seven) working days from the receipt of product from the Customer in this regard.

To know the status of the refund, the customer(s) can either call us or email us, to our customer support desk. We will promptly respond to all our customers and their concerns and queries in any regard.

Dispute Resolution

For any disputes/concerns/queries regarding the returns/cancellations/refunds/exchange, which are pertained under this policy, the customers are requested to email us at hello@kalamandir.com. Irrespective of the type of the dispute, our decision will be the final verdict.

This dispute resolution policy shall be governed by and interpreted and construed by the laws of India (Indian IT ACT 2002). The Customers are hereby subjected to Hyderabad jurisdiction of Telangana, India.
